On assignment for National Geographic I spent several weeks in 2011 travelling around Spain, my home country, including trips to the Balearic and Canary islands.
In these types of productions a great number of photographs are taken which have a very significant intrinsic photographic value in themselves, but that will never see the light of day in books with strong informative character like a travel guide.
This is just a small sample, if somewhat a surrealistic one, of situations I was confronted with in the day-to-day of my work on the assignment.
Nevertheless, as an author, I love these fleeting and unpredictable moments which reveal the way I live and understand photography.
